… farmers and hobby gardeners, for example, can check how much water is available to the plants at their location. A search function allows quick and easy orientation throughout Germany. Forecasts up to nine days in advance are calculated on a daily basis with a resolution of 600 m. They are based on simulations with the hydrology model ParFlow of the Institute of Bio- and Geosciences (IBG-3).
